  • This is the main website and blog site for the Puparazzi, the pet photography division of Vivid Visions Photo-Graphics. We are based on eastern Long Island and serve Long Island, the North Fork and the Hamptons, but we also take our show on the road from time to time. If you live outside of our main service area, don't be shy-we may be coming to your neighborhood soon!

We cover quite a bit of territory here, but our main focus is making images of your furry, fuzzy and feathered friends.

Primarily, we hope you will find easy access to information regarding our services and pricing. Just check the menu bar above. There you will find links to our Pet Photo galleries, details on our services and other information, including a note from Owner/Photographer Judy McCleery sharing a bit about how she found herself making a living with a camera in her hand.

Feedback, input and comments are always welcome, so please join our conversation with a post in our comments section. Or find us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks for visiting! Stay as long as you like and come back to see us again soon!

Baxter Sneak Peek

At 14 years old, Baxter has earned the grey muzzle, but he was still ready for an energetic walk on the beach. Thanks for posing sweetie!

Barbara Babikian - August 25, 2011 - 10:42 pm

Love your photos of Baxter. Looking forward to looking at some more of your work.

The Puparazzi - October 22, 2011 - 8:54 pm

Sorry for the delay in moderating this comment Barbara…you posted while we were getting ready for Hurricane Irene! Anyway, thank you for the kind comments. I hope you stop by and check out more again soon!

Bark For Life-Pups Walk for Cancer’s Cure

It’s a great day in Puparazzi-ville when we get to walk around a vineyard and snap photos of adorable pooches. The big bonus is that we also supported the American Cancer Society at the same time. I was honored to be the official photographer as the Riverhead Bark for Life crew set-up camp at Martha Clara Vineyards on April 10th for their fundraising, awareness raising, survivor-celebrating event. Cloudy skies, sunny smiles and lots of wagging tails were plentiful. Check some of my favorites below or visit the full gallery here

Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, Sidney!

In a place where Labrador Retrievers and Yorkshire Terriers seem to rule, it was a wonderful treat to spend some time with a bearded collie. Their long coats are so soft and their gentle eyes peeking out from behind the furry fringe are irresistible. They remind me of the 60s TV show Don’t Eat the Daisies. Sidney is a rescue and was a little shy around the camera, but in the end she posed so prettily for us.

Many thanks to Jeannie and Lou and of course their lovely Sidney for wonderful romp in the springtime!

Friday Free Furtography-Preview Pet Photos

On December 3rd, The Puparazzi and the Country Pet Boutique launched their new partnership-Friday Furtography Pet Photos, by offering free pet photo mini-sessions at the Country Pet on Love Lane in Mattituck.

The community response was so positive! In two short hours we squeezed in nine mini-sessions with pooches ranging from tall to small and everywhere in between. We’re doing it again on December 17th-Free session with a web-ready image or a sheet of four wallet prints, so if you missed the first one you still have a chance for a free session.

Here is a down and dirty fresh out of the camera sample of some of our favorites:

Zeus-he doesn't like camera, but we caught him looking, didn't we?

Norwood is in training for Canine Companions for Independence. I have such a soft spot for these black labs!

Zack-the last time we saw this fellow he was knee high to a grasshopper-they grow so fast!

Mr. Darcy-yes, named after the well-known, fictional English gentleman-both of them!

Maggie-so intent once she heard the whistle. Aren't those ears wonderful?

Sunday-Mom thought he was too shaggy for a photo, but I thought he was just right. So cute!

Gigi-a mixed breed rescue who is such a love!

Wilson at Bailie Beach

Taking the dogs for a run at Bailie Beach is a bit of a ritual for us, and as Boris aged, he was unable to make the trip. But, Wilson, in his puppy prime is ready for anything, so off we went today for his first visit to our favorite dog beach. Check out some of my favorite snaps from the visit:

"Me have stick!"

Next to Hogan, Wilson looks like a "mini" lab, don't you think?

Wilson thinks he is hiding the grass. So cute!

The Coast Guard lives on! (Hogan thought he'd be safe at the shore now that Boris isn't here.)

Check out those ears!

This is deep enought thanks! Another lab who doesn't swim...

Hogan with the gray muzzle still knows how to mug for the camera, doesn't he?
