  • This is the main website and blog site for the Puparazzi, the pet photography division of Vivid Visions Photo-Graphics. We are based on eastern Long Island and serve Long Island, the North Fork and the Hamptons, but we also take our show on the road from time to time. If you live outside of our main service area, don't be shy-we may be coming to your neighborhood soon!

We cover quite a bit of territory here, but our main focus is making images of your furry, fuzzy and feathered friends.

Primarily, we hope you will find easy access to information regarding our services and pricing. Just check the menu bar above. There you will find links to our Pet Photo galleries, details on our services and other information, including a note from Owner/Photographer Judy McCleery sharing a bit about how she found herself making a living with a camera in her hand.

Feedback, input and comments are always welcome, so please join our conversation with a post in our comments section. Or find us on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks for visiting! Stay as long as you like and come back to see us again soon!

New Year’s Day Beach Run

Since we are not the party all night type, even for New Year’s, we usually enjoy an early morning beach run with the beach to ourselves. Hogan and Wilson thoroughly enjoyed it-Hogan even kept his ball with him this time. The weather was perfect so the Nikon came with me. Here are two of my favorite snaps.

Happy New Year!

NY Dog Nanny Open House

We took the mobile studio to the Big Apple on November 11 to enjoy a beautiful Veteran’s Day, but also to celebrate with the NY Dog Nanny as they opened their Manhattan location on Lexington Avenue. As always we loved meeting the adorable pups and their parents. We had some lighting and printing challenges, but in the end we got some very sweet shots, don’t you think?  Many thanks to all to stopped by for a visit!

Furry Fashion Show – Puparazzi Pix Support Adopt A Shelter Dog Month

The Country Pet Boutique and the Puparazzi (that’s us!) joined forces today to raise awareness of Adopt A Shelter Dog Month (every October) and play dress up with our pooches, too. We hosted a Furry Fashion Show, and gave away some cool prizes-a pet photography session, a Country Pet Gift Certificate, a couple bottles of Long Island wine (Laurel Lake Vineyards thank you!), had a fun and furry parade down Love Lane in Mattituck, and snapped some fabulous photos! Thanks to all who came and donated. The Shelter Dogs will be SO grateful!

Here is a sample of my favorite pix:

An Ode to Maggie Crossing the Rainbow Bridge

This week our dear friends Jim and Eileen bid farewell to their Great Dane Maggie, who succumbed to bone cancer. This pretty girl lived to be 9 years old-quite elderly for a Great Dane. She was one of my favorite subjects, always had a playful demeanor when I pulled out the camera and so friendly too. Her beautiful fawn color also earned her a spot in the Puparazzi portfolio and the rotating photo gallery on the website.

It was an honor to know you Maggie.
